What to Expect
This excursion will take you through the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range that was awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCO as an area of great Physical and Cultural significance. It is certainly one of the most beautiful areas of Mallorca and during the excursion your guide will provide information about the area.
Drive to Valldemosa, one of the most beautiful villages of Mallorca situated at an altitude of 400 meters and take a stroll through the most interesting and beautiful places in the village. Enjoy some free time to relax and try the famous “coca de patata”, a small potato cake that is famous in Valldemosa. Also, have the chance to visit the monastery where Santa Catalina Tomas lived or visit the Royal Cartusian Monastery.
After that, drive through a fantastic coastal road with great views of the mountains and the sea. This will be a great chance to see some beautiful places such as Sa Foradada, Son Marroig, viewpoints, and the small village of Deia or Llucalcari. During the way your guide will explain the landscape and the culture of these places.
The drive will continue to the valley of Soller where you will visit the port and enjoy the atmosphere in this unique natural port on the West coast of Mallorca. In this charmig place you will have time to enjoy the typical drink of this area, orange juice, as this small town is very famous for the oranges.
Finish with a drive back to Palma for a small sightseeing tour around the city.
