Explore the main markets and backstreets of Palermo city center with a local food expert. Escape the usual tourist traps and discover venues loved by the locals for a fully immersive foodie experience.

You will easily find arancini around the streets but there is only one place in town that still makes the thousand-year-old recipe, you will find it on this tour. Your guides will have selected various bouquets of traditional street food for you.

We had an excellent tour with Sergio. He is clearly passionate about street food and Palermo, and had a wicked sense of humour. It's a great way to learn about Palermo and its history, along with experiencing some local delicacies. Highly recommend. A great way to explore Palermo.

An amazing tour! Angelo was the best guide you could hope for. He made us feel like friends instantly and I quickly forgot he was doing his job! The information he gave us made the whole of Palermo come to life for us, and we met warm and friendly people from the local area as we got to sample the delights of the various street food markets. We didn’t eat for the rest of the day we were so full so definitely skip breakfast if you’re going on this tour. If you get the chance to take this tour then do, and if you’re blessed enough to get Angelo to take you on it then you’ve won the guide lottery!

For first timer, it’s a good start to have a general idea about Palermo and ask all the questions you want. Alessandra was very helpfull in explaning whatever questions we have. Just a big expensive regarding the small amounts of food we got when you know it only costs 2-3 euros if you get if yourself.
