The street food tour was a wonderful experience for us. Salvo, our great tour guide, not only explained the background of the food, but also told us a lot about the history of Parlermo and the people. Thank you Salvo, it was the best way to start the Palermo adventure. Marianne & Bernhard, Vienna
Our driver, Umberto, was absolutely AMAZING! He texted me the night before to let me know what time and exactly where he was picking us up. He was so friendly and very knowledgeable about Corleone. We can to Corleone because my grandparents immigrated from there in 1914. He took us to the Corleone City Hall and, with Umberto translating, I was able to see my grandparents actual, handwritten birth certificates! Then I was given a copy of each. The lady at the office was able to give us the address of my grandfather’s house. Umberto was so wonderful that he took us there! I didn’t even have to ask, he just said, “Let’s go!” In my opinion, that was so above and beyond!!! He could have made just a regular tour, but he went out of his way to make this something incredibly special for me and my family. If you take this tour, I hope you have the opportunity to get Umberto for your tour! I can only say, “Umberto, you gave me a most precious gift and I will never be able to thank you!
