Loved this museum, so many beautiful pieces, the courtyard and cafe onsite are gorgeous, we enjoyed doing an unguided tour and being able to take our time onsite, and especially loved that is was not insainly populated with people, a lot more relaxing environment and able to enjoy the artwork and take our time.

The gallery is charming. Twenty years ago, there was a very disturbing, yet alluring, piece of an old man suckling at a young woman's breast. It was not in the collection this time around and I was disappointed by its absence. The Doria Café is spectacular and so lovely on a hot, Roman day.

The gallery was really good but one thing I would recommend to my fellow travelers who do not speak Italian is to either be here with a guide or opt for the audio tour. There isn't a lot of information on the paintings in English so even though we see them we don't really know anything about them.
