The Associação Comercial do Porto started the construction of the Palácio da Bolsa, its headquarters, and property in 1842. Over three generations, many masters and craftsmen worked to build this architectural jewel of the 19th century in neoclassical style.

Great names in architecture, painting, sculpture, and decorative arts contributed to the construction of the building, which is now classified as a National Monument and one of the main attractions of Porto e Norte, receiving more than 450,000 visitors annually.

During this guided tour with a certified guide from Palacio da Bolsa, you will visit the authentic and impressive rooms of a building that is now over 180 years old.

Had to wait in a very long line(more than 1 hour) to exchange the voucher for a ticket. So much demand for English tours but it’s only every 2 hours. They were kind enough to exchange our voucher for the next day. Last room, Arabic room, was out of the world!!

The tour is good, but logistically challenging. Even though I bought tickets on GYG, I still had to get in a long line for the ticket counter like everyone else. Then you exchange your GYG vouchers for the actual entry tickets, and pick a tour language and time. After waiting in line about 30 minutes, the next English tour was sold out. They only have one every 2 hours. We had to rearrange our schedule for the day and come back at the end of the day. The tour is good, informative, and the building is unique. What you will remember is that Moorish room. So unique and beautiful!

The visit to the Palace is accessible only with an attached tourist guide but, unfortunately, it is not available in Italian. We joined the Spanish group and I must say that all in all the important things can be understood or understood. Nothing idyllic but, the Arab room deserves the ticket price
