Absolutely worth it! This is the one tour my partner and I booked during our 2 weeks on Crete. We learned and saw so much that we never would have on our own. Stavros was fun, engaging, and genuine. It’s clear he cares a lot about his home island and sharing it with others. The van was very comfortable, and I preferred this small group tour (6-7 people max) as opposed to the large buses you often see. I also appreciate that this is a small, independently-owned business that supports other small businesses during the tour! Stavros is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, and he even followed up with suggestions for the rest of our trip. We will be recommending this tour company to our friends and family who decided to visit Crete in the future, and we ourselves hope to be back one day!

Didn’t know what to expect when we visited today but our tour guide Akrivi was absolutely amazing. Kept us captivated throughout the tour. The tour was only meant to last for a hour but it lasted almost 2 hours and that time flew by. She certainly knows his history not only of Knossos palace but many other historical events/sites. Next, we took the complimentary Heraklion walking tour!! I loved that we stopped at a couple of excellent places that we would never have been able to find on our own. We tried some sweet cheese pastries…that was a new experience for me, and they were delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about the city, food and culture.

The Palace of Knossos is an absolute must. Purchase and direct access is quick and easy thanks to the QR code. The audio guide is very good and usually matches the directions. Thanks to the "pause" and map, you can also go into more detail individually. Tip: download the audio guide beforehand, the GSM network is weak on site; getting there by public city bus is easy and inexpensive (3€ return)

Ed was the kindest and friendliest tourguide we ever had! It was a very funny, interesting and personal tour. Thanks a lot! We can highly recommend this tour!

It was great that the entrance fee for the Palace of Knossos was cheaper than at the ticket counter.
