Palace of Fine Arts, Mexico City: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Palace of Fine Arts, Mexico City
The show is so beautiful and thrilling and rich, the Opera house ideal
I was in Mexico City for a week and so anxious to see some of the traditional dance that I had witnessed from Mexican visitors to my community years ago. Had earlier toured the building to see the murals. But I was unprepared for the vivacity and choreography of the show... took my breath away. Plus the that night the dancers honored survivors of the 1968 shooting and that was poignant for me.
The city tour was fantastic- we saw so many things, bypassed lines and our guide was extremely knowledgeable - providing us background and information we never would have picked up on our own. Anthropology museum was a little rushed, but still worth while. I might suggest taking the tours separately rather than combined if your itinerary allows.
This tour was lead by a very informative and professional guide.
I enjoyed this tour very much. It was a perfect "first tour" of the city. After taking this tour, I had a greater sense of the city and I was able to explore more of Mexico City on my own.
All depends on the guide, and we had a marvellous guide.
I booked the tour at the beginning of my Mexico City stay. It was a very good introduction to Mexico City. It helped a lot to feel secure in the City.
