The cultural experience was great. Learned more about the Maori heritage and the show was magical. Gave me goosebumps The presenters and the performers were so amazing. The cafe food was good and reasonably priced. In fact, every member of staff were brilliant at their job. Second visit and I will certainly take any future visitors to me along to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds

Well worth the money. Guided tour takes about 50 mins, kapa haka 30 mins and for me, visits to both the Waitangi museum and Te Rau Aroha museum took about 2 hours. I know a fair bit about the treaty yet still learned something from the tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The kapa haka performance was very entertaining yet polished. Had lunch at the cafe there - tasty food at reasonable prices. You won’t regret this experience.

The tour was white washed and the true nature of colonial violence minimised. If there is any place in Aotearoa where the colonial history can be truthfully shared - this is surely the place! Was somewhat disappointed to see Māori genocide and ethnocide invisibilised by the tour guide.
