Departing from Paihia or Russell, discover the unique sights of this wildlife sanctuary and nature destination.
Admire the stunning formation of the famous Hole in the Rock* and Cathedral Cave, and sight the remote Cape Brett Peninsula and Lighthouse.
Keep an eye out for a variety of marine wildlife as you cruise along the coastline.
Listen to live commentary and information from your tour guides as they relay the history of the area.
Visit the landing site of Captain James Cook on the idyllic Roberton Island, with a short walk to the lookout point over the iconic Twin Lagoons, and a second island stopover for the opportunity to do some of the nature walks, take a swim or snorkel (all equipment provided) and bring food/drink to enjoy a beachside lunch in one of the most beautiful locations of New Zealand.
*Cruising out to The Hole in the Rock is weather dependent. If conditions are not suitable, an alternative route will be taken within the shelter of the inner islands

- The cruise is subject to weather conditions - if conditions to The Hole in the Rock are not suitable, an alternative route within the calmer, sheltered waters will be used.
- A minimum number of participants are required. In the unlikely event that these are not reached, you will be offered an alternative option, or a full refund.
- **If you are arriving into the Bay of Islands on a Cruise Ship**
- Bay of Islands is a tender port. Cruise ships will normally tender into the Waitangi Wharf. From there, they provide FREE shuttle buses to Paihia Wharf where all tours depart from (4-5 mins on the shuttle bus)
