What people are saying about Paihia

I had such a great day on the Kopiko! Luke is a great host and captain and we had a very relaxing day on the water and on the island. We learned a lot about the area and I was eager to learn a bit about sailing so Luke taught me some of that too! The island we went to was quiet and calm and we basically had it to ourselves. The lunch sandwich and snacks were really good, the hospitality on the boat was great too. We walked a bit on the island and enjoyed the beach, a swim and some paddle boarding. Bean bags on the catamaran were great to relax on. Over all a 5-star experience I would happily recommend to anyone!

Brilliant day out with Barefoot Adventures. What a sweet ride on the Cat! Incredibly comfortable day sailing lounging on bean bags whilst soaking in sun, sea air and the beautiful bay scenery. Wonderful to learn and help support the Project Island Song. If you only get one chance to get out to the bay then this is definitely the boat and crew to choose. Luke and Rachael wonderful hosts and food was excellent! We will be back with the tribe. Thanks for a memorable day.

Fantastic experience! Unfortunately due to weather we were unable to visit the Hole in Rock. However the crew accommodated and I appreciate the decision you made in order to keep us safe. The captain Teina made it a wonderful experience. Beautiful scenery, insightful commentary and a great full value for money. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. Good commentary but not loud and continuous. Gave you time to enjoy the moment. Calm enough to go through the 'hole' which was great. Didn't see dolphins unfortunately but we made the most of the free trip if you didn't see them first time. Saw the dolphins that time so the bonus trip was worth it.

This is a wonderful place. The museums, Treaty House and top Marae are great. We did a tour and the tour guide was well informed and was able to answer any questions. If you are a kiwi you should only pay $25 each not the $50 charged by this site.
