From Las Vegas: Mojave Desert Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride

1. From Las Vegas: Mojave Desert Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride

Discover the Mojave Desert from a new perspective as you glide overhead in a hot air balloon. Glimpse wildlife down below and enjoy birds-eye views of Death Valley and the Nopah Mountain Range. Partake in a traditional champagne toast at the end and learn about the history of hot air balloons. Meet your pilot and crew approximately 90 minutes prior to sunrise. It's an early start, but seeing the sunrise and scenery from a hot air balloon is an experience like none other. From the local partner's check-in office, transfer to the launch field in Pahrump, an hour west of the Las Vegas Strip. Upon take-off, there is no sensation of movement, rather one of the ground dropping away. During the flight, which lasts 45-60 minutes, get spectacular birds-eye views of the Spring and Nopah Mountain Ranges, Death Valley, and Eastern California in the distance. As you drift silently and peacefully over the countryside, watch for desert wildlife, snap photos and even talk with envious onlookers down below. Upon landing, participate in a traditional champagne toast, hear the story of how hot air ballooning began, and how it led to modern-day aviation as we know it. Plan to be away for up to 6 hours in total, allowing for check-in, travel to the launch location, a safety briefing, set-up and pack-up of the balloon as well as the return drive back to your original meeting location.

Fulfilling the dream of sitting under a star lit sky was an experience that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. Jack was the best tour guide I could’ve asked for. He was incredibly accommodating in taking us to the best spots at the best times to see the wonders of nature. And he was an equally great photographer to help document our memories. Im well pleased.

This is an incredible place and we got very lucky with the weather. Our guide Jason Park did a great job, giving us plenty of time on each of the stops and with frequent bathroom/food stops to ensure that everyone was comfortable. We could not do stargazing because of the weather but that is out of everyone's hands. I highly recommend this tour.

Views and sunrise were amazing! Matt, the guide, was interesting and full of information and his control of the balloon was wild. The crew sure hustled and had the balloon set up and taken down in no time. Landing on the road and surprising the homeowner was priceless. The champagne toast afterward was refreshing!

An amazing day planned by our tour guide Mike! We were picked up on time and given enough time to enjoy every spot during the tour. Very glad we did not venture out ourselves in this huge NP with absolutely no range. Would highly recommend this for anyone visiting the park for the first time! Great experience:)

Our guide welcomed us particularly well and took care of us. Thank you for his experience, his sharing of knowledge and his good humor. He knew how to put us at ease and peacefully share a timeless experience. To do to find yourself in harmony with nature, gently, as if by magic.
