What people are saying about Padua

The guide was waiting near the entrance to where you embark the boat. I could easily have missed the trip as she was not easily identifiable and I was waiting right in front of the church. Everyone chose to sit upstairs as it was a lovely day. Be warned though, despite it being only mid April it was still very hot in the open. The locks were interesting to traverse. It would have been nice to know what was being offered in the restaurant recommended by the guide. I chose to eat lunch independently in a small restaurant on the opposite side of the river. There was plenty of time to take photos whilst the guide explained to the diverse group in their native tinge. At the last stop I left my bag on the bus. Unfortunately there was an accident and the bus was delayed by 50mins reaching us at our pick up point. The train back to Venice from Padova was cheap and easy.

A delightful day out

The boat trip is a great way to spend a day. Very relaxing with a good mix of visits to villas, enjoying the process of the locks and the bridges along the way and capped off by the spectacular entrance to Venice. Highly recommended

The cruise was very well organised and all went smoothly. Francesca was a great guide with an extraordinary facility in several languages and went out of her way to assist in any way requested. Well done!

Very special and original. Brave the escorts. Getting to Venice from the lagoon is priceless

The navigation with swing bridges and many locks is very useful and interesting
