Booked an 11am Sunday tour of Oxford. Recieved a telephone shortly after our booking to inform us that due to covid the tour did not currently include the scheduled visits inside the buildings. Whilst we had established this before booking, the phone call was appreciated and confirmed our expectations. It was a little disappointing we could not visit inside the buildings as part of the tour but it was absolutely worth booking. The walking was manageable and we felt that our visit to Oxford was a must richer experience because of the tour. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Oxford - excellent, even held the attention of our teenager.
although it was cold and raining, Trevor our guide gave us a very warm welcome. we have done many tours but Trevor was by far the best guide ever. even through the rain he managed to interest us and keep us listening to his stories - he is very knowledgeable about Oxford and i would thoroughly recommend this tour
Great 2 hours spent with our very knowledgeable guide, Trevor, in torrential rain...Trevor kept the stories and history coming to keep our spirits high. The walk was probably a mile or so at most and perfectly split to allow plenty of time for photographs and questions.
Very informative guide. We were really pleased to have the guide as we wouldn't have known where to start. I'd suggest having the morning tour as all the tickets for the library and halls were sold out in the afternoon.
James was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, amusing. It was a cold rainy December day and he definitely helped to make it a bit brighter! Good luck with the rest of your studies and for the future.
