Great fun! Especially for those interested in architecture, new approaches to urbanism and community engagement. We learnt about the newest quarters of Oslo, waterfront regeneration and community projects as well as fast transforming trendy areas in the heart of the city. Definitely worth it, as many of the things we wouldn't have discovered just looking at the recommendations on the internet. The tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. After the tour, she sent us many links with further information on things we were interested in. Highly recommended at the beginning of your trip as you'll have more insight into the city with many more tips of places to visit!
This was the BEST DECISION ever!! The men crewing the boat were so kind. The entire ship was gorgeous, from the wood detailing to the picnic tables to the cushioned seats to the twinkling lights. It was freezing outside and raining and gusting wind but the boat was driven expertly and did not rock violently at all. Loved it so much and made my whole trip!
Great tour, 2hrs was perfect - not too short and not too long. Sensible prices of drinks and plenty of blankets available (but I strongly recommend wearing suitable clothing anyway!).
In March it is very cold so wear warm footwear! The scenery of Oslo Fjord which you will see is nicely varied and the commentary is useful without being too long winded
Great afternoon out - audio was just enough to give some fun facts of the surroundings so you could enjoy the surroundings without disruption for most of the journey
