Full description
Norway is a country of diverse geographical zones, with an extensive coastline and mountainous terrain, all of which have influenced the foods of Oslo.  On this 4-hour food walking tour your guide will introduce you to the uniquely fresh flavors of the north while guiding you through some of the most interesting historical areas of the city. You’ll begin in the harbor area, where you’ll visit the most traditional restaurant in town, decorated as an old-fashioned fishing hut. Sample a plate of foods representative of the whole country! The micro-brewing scene in Oslo is flourishing and you’ll visit the most centrally located venue. Try locally made beers and see the smallest brewery in the city. Continue your walk through the old town, and up a winding road that takes you out of the city, stopping on the way for a gourmet chocolate, a staple of the traditional Norwegian Sunday hike. Follow the river and you’ll end up at the new market hall, where you’ll have the opportunity to try the best in local cheeses and delicacies from local shops.

    Great fun tour

The tour gives you a good impression of Oslo. Our tour guide also had very thorough knowledge of Oslo, culture and history. The 4 hours fly away. The graduation in the Amundsen brewery was also a great experience. Highly recommend this tour.
