As Japan's first museum themed around housing and living in Osaka, the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living can take you to experience the architectural style of both the Edo period (on the 9th floor) and the modern (on the 8th floor). Walk through the streets, and you will be amazed by the city’s development and evolution. It is worth mentioning that there will be some special exhibitions and events that change with the seasons. If you visit the museum from mid-April to late August, you will find summer festival decorations on display. From early September to early April, it will change to an exhibit of merchants of the past.

In this 6 hours tour, be prepared to walk through Osaka, visiting the Castle, Fish Market, Shinsekai and the famous street of Dotombori. We meet at the Osaka Joiner's base in Namba (inside Namba Walk), or pick up at the Hotel. Starting from this point, we do some hearing with you, to understand better your requests, and create an itinerary just for you! For those who don't know much about Osaka, there's an itinerary that we will follow! We go to the Osaka Castle, give you a brief explanation, take photos of the castle, and also there's a possibility to enter inside the Castle. Heading to the north, we go to a Museum; the Museum of Housing and Living of Osaka. In this museum, you can see how people used to live in Osaka around the 1800s, and also wear a kimono if you like! There's also some model of Osaka around the 1900s. Get a good lunch at the Fish Market in Namba at Kuromon Market. The most famous fish market in Japan, but they have not just seafood, they also have beef, fruits, and sweets. Visit Dotombori, the famous street food of Osaka, with over 50 food shops. Very lively place, and at night very beautiful with a lot of illumination and people walking around. For people that wants to have a Japanese cultural thing, we have a Tea Ceremony, if you want to experience this, please tell us beforehand so we can make a reservation for this experience. (Not included in this price, you will need to pay this for the store we go, around 4000 YEN.) Enter the “New World” of Shinsekai. Visit the Tsutenkaku Tower, and see Osaka from the top, if you have courage, you can also do a bungee jump! Shinsekai is also very well known for the local food, with lots of Kushikatsu shops, and Takoyaki. Shitennouji, a very important temple near the Shinsekai area, every 21st and 22nd of every month, they have a Flea Market happening over there, and the entrance to the temple is also free. If you like Buddhism, you can pray over there. Finishing, we have Umeda Sky Building, get to the top of the building, and be amazed by the scenic view of the whole city of Osaka, at night is an unforgettable view.
