The tour takes you to Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, world heritage sites in Nara. Experience an encounter with wild deer in nearby Nara Prak, something few other places in the world offer.
What to Expect
The tour starts from either Kyoto or Osaka as you choose. The bus will take you to Nara from Kyoto. You will enjoy the peaceful landscapes during a drive. First, you will visit Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple where the Great Buddha is located.
After that, your group will go to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the most celebrated temple, built in 768 A.D.
In Nara Nagomikan, the final destination of the tour, you will be able to find souvenirs from Nara, such as popular Nara sweets, locally brewed sake, specialty foods, pretty traditional Japanese crafts and authentic handicrafts by experienced craftsmen from Kyoto to Nara.
Know Before You Go
At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour will not enter areas requiring admission.
During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 14th to 16th), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto is unavailable due to traffic restrictions.
The tour may not visit Nara Nagomikan, if it is closed or due to traffic conditions.
