You will start your journey by meeting the attraction's main characters: Mia the seahorse, Magnus the shark, and Tyler the sea turtle. They will explain to you the importance of breeding, rescuing, and protecting the ocean's most precious creatures. Afterwards, you will enter into the first section of the attraction. This showcases a wall filled with jelly fish, with participants able to select which color they would like the jelly fish habitat to glow. The next section is called Ship Wreck. Here, there are all sorts of creatures, such as an octopus, yellow tangs, and the first big look into the Atlantic ocean.
Around the corner, you will find the seasonal feature of the attraction, axolotls. The axolotl is the most studied salamander in the entire world. It can regenerate its own limbs, jaws, tails, spinal cord, skin and organs perfectly. All other animals that have regenerative properties are never perfect (i.e. humans regenerate skin, but often with scarring). Moving forward into the attraction, you will find lots of colorful fish such as puffer fish and bamboo sharks. Here, guests can take a look at all of the vibrant and tropical fish that can be found inside the Pacific Ocean.
Once you leave the Pacific, you will find yourself in a 180-degree tunnel. This tunnel will transition you from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. The next few steps lead you into the large 360-degree tunnel, the only one of its kind in Orlando. Here you can witness a sea turtle, nurse and black tip sharks, sting rays, eels, and hundreds of other species of animals. Continuing on this journey, you will find yourself in the third man habitat, the Indian Ocean. Ted the loggerhead sea turtle can be found here, along with more specialty sharks and sea creatures.
The next room is a must see! Stingray Cove allows you to watch as sting rays swim excitedly within their habitat. There's also a chance to see horseshoe crabs and and more eels. Since the Everglades start right in Orlando's back yard, a trip to the aquarium would not be complete without seeing Florida's natural habitat. Within this section, you can find all sorts of creatures that call the Florida Everglades home. Before ending your journey, you will find yourself in the touch pool area. This area gives you an opportunity of a lifetime to get up-close and personal with sea stars and other creatures.
