Full description

The Central Florida Everglades are natural wonders, best explored with locals who know their backwaters. The beautiful landscape and expert guidance of your captain will make this tour a trip that you'll never forget. Guests on the Scenic Nature Tour explore narrow water trails engulfed in the brush of the Central Florida Everglades. On this tour you'll stop periodically, hoping to spot Florida's state reptile, the American Alligator, in its natural setting.

Witness rare and endangered birds swooping effortlessly through the skies as the sunshine warms your body and the wind whips through your hair. Other wildlife abounds throughout the trip. This tour is perfect for groups and families looking to explore and learn about the unexpected side of Central Florida. A longer trip on a Detailed Nature Tour of 1-hour increases the number of encounters with Florida's wildlife, especially the American Alligator, which can reach up to 15 feet in length and 1,000 pounds. You'll experience nature right alongside turtles, bald eagles, blue herons, deer, and a wide variety of waterfowl in their natural environment, not in captivity. Be sure to also check out the Gem Mining Station. You will be able to purchase buckets filled with treasures that are native to Florida and take them to the mining station. While mining, you will discover various gems, alligator teeth, shark teeth, rocks, and other treasures. There will be an additional charge for gem mining bags or buckets. A restaurant with indoor or patio seating is available, where you can dine before or after your tour (at your own expense).

Awesome! Captain Conner was a great guide. Has a great eye for gators & saw 2 soaring eagles. Place was easy to find, clean restrooms, nice covered area to wait. Would've a nice place to picnic before or after your air boat ride! Excellent & super fun! Thanks Conner from Dayton, OH folks!

Captain Andy was as amazing as he was knowledgeable. We saw some gators, bald eagle, and my new favorite the snail kite. We zipped and whipped through the narrow and shallow passageways adding to the adventure. I loved just zooming across the open water and having the wind blow in my hair. We came out for my nieces birthday and the whole staff really delivered. We got to take pictures with the shaman, feed the gators and mine for gems!! Everyone from the lovely woman who checked us in at the front gate to retails clerks who helped us shop. It was the best time our family is definitely coming back, since some didn't get to make the trip.

There are many activities to enjoy at this site both before and after your scheduled boat ride. We had our 2 grandsons and they loved the exhibits, gators, Native American artifacts and photo ops. The ride itself was perfect. We saw 2 different gator nests and beautiful water birds! I wasn’t sure which time length to book but the 30 minute was perfect for the 5 and 7 Year old. Our guide was great!!! (Chris?) Sorry! Anyway it is a gorgeous, remote setting!
