Full description
Your day will begin as you are picked up from your hotel at around 4:00AM in the morning. From there, take the 6:10AM train to Ollantaytambo where you will transferred to Hot Waters, arriving by around 8:00AM. There your guide will be waiting for you with a sign stating your name to take you to your hotel.
Following breakfast, meet with the group at 10:00AM to take the bus to the guided in the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Meet your guide there who will teach you the history, including how Machu Picchu was built. At the end of your tour you can decide whether to go for lunch or travel back to your hotel to relax. Later in the afternoon you can explore the city to discover a little more about it, with the thermal baths or the museum popular among visitors.
The next day you'll get up at 6:00AM for breakfast after which you take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon your arrival to Ollantaytambo your local partner will be waiting to transport you back to Cusco. Once back in Cusco, your guide will drop you off to the main square of the city.
