We especially liked meeting the owners. Dimitris and Maria are passionate about their farm and shared their passion with us. Don't expect a traditional farm of vegetables. The climate is too dry on the island for that. Its thym, capers, prickly pears and black raisins. Visit is private with a tasting of their products. I found Santorini too crowdy and commercial. This activity gave me another point of view of how this island was in the past.

Meet your guide and hike a few meters along picturesque cobblestone streets to reach the farm. Stroll through the first organic black currant vineyard in Santorini and walk among local varieties of herbs, such as caper and thyme. Depending on the time of year, you can even pick some and taste them.

Head over to a cave to learn about the stages of harvesting and production in the natural herb drying area. End your visit with a tasting of the unique LIQUEUR RAISIN and of infused extra virgin olive oil paired with regional bites.
