Founded in 1330 by Holy Roman Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian for a group of knights and Benedictine monks, the abbey remains an active monastic community. You'll gain insight into the daily lives of the Benedictine monks who still reside there. Afterward, we’ll return to your hotel, concluding a day filled with history, culture, and natural beauty.
