Hierve el Agua is the first stop on our tour. We stayed there for 3 hours to have enough time to enjoy the natural wonders of Hierve el Agua. Take a hiking tour in the area with local guides, or take a dip in the pools. Start the journey back to the city, and stop at one of the most popular mezcal distilleries in Oaxaca. Enjoy a free mezcal tasting, and taste the different flavors of mezcals that exist. Return to Oaxaca de Juarez after the distillery visit.

Sail the waters in a motorized boat to search for dolphins and other wildlife. Observe different species such as the Pinto Dolphin, White Belly, Whitenose Dolphin, Bottle, and Screw. Spot adult Olive Ridley Turtles, Flying Fish, Manta Rays, and various birds, and enjoy the impressive Humpback Whales from November to March. Use snorkel masks to enter the water and swim near the turtles and dolphins. Marvel at these magnificent creatures from below the surface and hear how they communicate with each other. Take photos of each other while you swim or relax on the boat with drinks that you can keep in the cooler box provided. Connect to the Bluetooth speaker to play your choice of music during the tour. After an enjoyable sail, return to the beach. The tour will end here and you can remain at the beach as long as you like.

Our next stop will take you to the Petrified Waterfalls at Hierve el Agua. The water has sculpted the rocks throughout the centuries, creating formations that seem frozen in time. We will be here one hour and then we will stop at a buffet with authentic Oaxacan Food. At Teotitlán del Valle you will witness the ability and passion of local craftsmen. Here, time will seem to have stopped while the looms take life and the colors dance through the threads, creating authentic works of art using ancestral techniques. To finish this unforgettable journey, we will go to an authentic mezcal distillery. Its aromas and unique flavors will transport you to Oaxaca's own essence. The experience begins with pickup from your hotel in Puerto Escondido and heads to a preserved beach. Join a local nature conservation group and learn about the different species of sea turtles and the measures being taken to help protect them since they became an endangered species. Learn about the lives of the sea turtles, then help them reach the ocean from their nest on the beach. There’s plenty of time to take photos of this magical experience, and soak up views of the sunset. By the end of the evening, you’ll have learned more about this endangered species, taken part in the effort to protect them, and made unforgettable memories.

After pickup from your hotel in Oaxaca city, journey towards Hierve el Agua to see the famous petrified waterfalls formed over thousands of years. Enjoy some time to swim in the natural pools formed by the waterfalls, and delight in the stunning landscape of the Sierra Madre del Sur. The final stop on the tour is the "Pueblo indígena Zapoteca de Tapetes." Known also as Teotitlán del Valle, the town is famous for its beautiful textile wool products, made with natural dyes. See the beautiful patterns on rugs, jackets, bags, sarapes, tapestries, curtains, and dresses, made with large wooden looms. Learn about the ancestral, artisanal techniques used to make these quality products. The order of the excursion may be different during high tourist seasons in order to avoid waiting in lines at stops.

We'll meet either at Carrizalillo Beach or La Punta Zicatela, depending on wave conditions and student levels. Afterward, there's a 30-minute theory session covering board positioning, paddling techniques, standing up on the board, and safety rules. The class adjusts to our students' levels, and all surfing equipment is provided. Following the theory, we hit the water to practice what we've learned. Surfing is an exhilarating and comprehensive sport, and whether it's your first time or you're refining your skills, you'll experience an incredible ride in one of the world's best surfing spots. Finally, after the session, we'll provide feedback and tips to enhance your technique for your next surfing lesson!
