Monte Alban is jaw-dropping. It is the most extraordinary place. Nobody should miss it. It’s so close to Oaxaca Juarez and has been restored so beautifully, it is a highlight of Oaxaca. Ivan was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable about the Zapotec monuments and the culture and history of the region.

The tour and guide were great. The site is an amazing example of the pre-Colombian Zapotec civilization. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. It’s a lot of information to impart in a limited amount of time, but he did a great job of it. We even got free time to explore on our own. A great experience and awesome value for the price. Highly recommended!
