I did this tour for my birthday, and I don't regret it. It might sound overwhelming to do so much in one day, but it was well paced and I felt like we had enough time at each location. I will start with the best part of the tour, which was our tour guide, Julio. He was knowledgable about each aspect of the tour. He was fluent in both English and Spanish. so he moved easily between the two languages. Best of all, he was very personable and real. He is what made the experience great for us. The tour started at 12:00, which was perfect because we were able to relax in the morning before starting. I bought a most beautiful rug from the textile tour. I will always cherish it as a memonto of my trip to Oaxaca. By the time we arrived at Hierve el Agua, it was late afternoon, so most of the tours had already left.
