Full description
Experience the authentic history of Pearl Harbor as you retrace the footsteps of the brave soldiers of World War II on a full-day tour of Oahu. Following a pick-up from your hotel (available from most Waikiki hotels), relive the days of the conflict that altered the path of world history, from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the signing of the surrender aboard the USS Missouri. See artifacts of war from the attack on Pearl Harbor, and climb aboard a Navy vessel to visit the Arizona Memorial, a lasting tribute to over 1,000 sailors killed in the 1941 attack, built above the sunken remains of the USS Arizona. Continue to the legendary USS Bowfin submarine, and learn about its pivotal role in the battle for the Pacific. Next, go to the all-new Pacific Aviation Museum, where a guided tour will take you back in time to witness some of the best pilots of a bygone age. Finally, discover how the US Navy has changed at the naval base on Ford Island.

The Heroes Tour was an amazing history lesson

Taking the Heroes tour provides a full prospective of Pacific theater of WWII. Learning about the role the USS Missouri played in the war was fascinating. This tour had excellent guides. Participants will learn a lot of history not found in any history book. The US Arizona memorial is a somber experience.

The whole day was great, from pick up to drop off. Frank the driver was very knowledgeable, parting with many facts about Pearl Harbour. There was plenty of time at each of the different parts of the tou.

Very well organized. No scooter rentals available at any of the sites. There was not a guided tour of the Missouri as advertised. Excellent bus driver. Very knowledgeable.
