Full description
Experience the hidden gems of Oahu's famous North Shore. Head out on a journey through time and pineapple fields to Waimea Valley. Discover Hawaii's unparalleled natural beauty, deeply rooted in local history, culture, spirituality, and tradition. This picturesque oasis is a world away from Waikiki, situated in tranquil nature with a variety of beautiful flowers and rare plants.

Cap off your rainforest walk with a refreshing dip in the cool waters of a 45-foot waterfall in the heart of the valley. Bask in the Hawaiian sun and swim under a cascading waterfall. Afterward, cruise down the famous coast to a secluded beach. Far from the hustle and bustle, find a sense of serenity on this small sandy shore in the middle of the largest ocean on the planet.

Continue with a necessary stop at a famous shrimp truck for a locally-inspired plate lunch, made with shrimp farmed from a 36-acre pond in Kahuku. Visit a traditional, 10-acre restored Hawaiian fishpond in the heart of Haleiwa to get a feel for modern shrimp farming.

Pick up insights into how Hawaiians sustainably support their communities through aquaculture, all the while taking in sweeping views of the Waianae mountain range. Your adventure concludes with a stroll through Haleiwa town, home to surf culture, local boutiques, and of course, shave ice.
