Transportation from Waikiki was on time and the driver was great, he told us a lot about the island and chatted involving everyone. Once we arrived, the location was splendid, the park very beautiful. We did various proposed activities, it was nice. Dinner is buffet style and there is an assigned seat for everyone. The food is local, with cutlery and plates made of cardboard and plastic, it's not that great but it fits. For the show we were sitting very far away, so we took the folding chairs and moved forward. The dancers were very good, even if we didn't understand why to dance the dances of all cultures, when the Hawaiian culture alone has so much to tell and offer. We also had a souvenir photo taken by the professional photographer, but it cost a lot and we preferred not. Overall it was a nice evening.

Read reviews and this Luau was recommended. This was my first one and it was just fantastic, best money I ever spent.. took in the park earlier in the day which was good, too bad a few displays where closed for upgrading but it has to be done at times.. highly recommend.

Great show, good buffet

When we arrived by bus, everything looked a little disorganized and confused. We had to wait until the table was assigned to us. We were not told that the buffet was already open. When the famous Kalua pig was uncovered, it was only shown for photo and video purposes, but we weren't allowed to eat any of it, it was carried away. The pig was already included in the buffet. We found it a shame to hold such a ceremony and nobody was allowed to eat the pig. Otherwise great show and good food.
