From start to finish the guides were informative and humerous, they had everyone on the boat laughing. The trip out 3 miles off shore was beautiful. Once we to the cage we immediately got to put snorkels on and climb into the cage. 8 per group, 2 groups, with my mother staying on the boat. We got to watch Galapagos sharks calmly swimming around and curiously come to the cage and then calmly turn around and swam away. They were very beautiful sharks, I think I mostly saw females. There were a couple with hooks in their mouths which was sad. Water was pretty chilly since we were pretty far out. We even got to see some dolphins and smaller whales. All in all an amazing experience. Can't wait to do it again!

Had a wonderful time and definitely got to see lots of sharks up close! It was awesome - and as a bonus we got to see several whales breaching and diving on the way out to the cage location and also on the way back! Highly recommend that you take strong anti-nausea medicine before you leave land, and perhaps again midway thru the trip. Nearly everyone on the boat ended up getting sick shortly after we departed - seas were a little rough. Captain Paula & her crew mate were fabulous and took great care of us - 10 out of 10 experience. I am already dreaming about going again!

Tons of fun. However, if you book, go in the morning as the water really gets choppy in the afternoon and that makes the cage really bob around and difficult to get photos. Also, the steps down into the cage are VERY slick, would almost suggest that the company place the same type of slick guard on them like public swimming pools have. Otherwise, really unique experience.
