Ría de Arousa: Boat Ride to Mussel Farm with Tasting

This was a very fun thing to do while my wife and I were touring throughout northern Spain. The boat ride to the mussel farms is perfect. We had no idea of everything we were about to learn and then enjoyed an enormous plate of mussels. We even had oysters too. The crew were professional and fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Plus O Grove is such a quaint town.

I truly recommend the activity but you should show up earlier than 15 minutes before if you want to have the seats on the outside upper deck. otherwise you are in the inner cabin which is ok as well but not as good in my opinion. we were served a bottle of albariño, 1 l bottle of water and a big bottle of soft drink.The mejillones were very delicious and fresh and the portion was unexpectedly big (they serve them twice). We were also very lucky to see the dolphins once we got a bit further away from the coast. The only minua is prerecorded audio guide in Spanish that is quite hard to hear among the noise of the people and sea. No other materials were provided so we left with lots of questions.
