What people are saying about Nusa Penida

Safe, seriously well done. Can’t believe it was only 120AUD loved it.

Great from start to finish, driver was on time and came to the right part of the hotel after I emailed the instructions, then he organised my fast boat tickets wrist band and our passes at the port I didn’t have to think about a thing. Fast boats were modern and comfy there and back. The welcome and organisation was great when we got there and then we were on smaller boats to go to the snorkeling areas the first spot was great saw three manta rays the water was deep and the sea pretty rough to be honest but it all still felt very safe they had staff floating around on life buoys for the less confident people to hang on to. Next two spots were in much calmer water with coral reef to look at saw a pretty good range of fish. Back for lunch it was a delicious buffet and you can buy Bintang beer if you like. Finally a chilled out tour through the mangroves then back in to change and then a transfer back to the Fast Boats. Driver was waiting right there on the beach for us. Perfecto!

Excellent snorkelling, even for beginners

The tour ran smoothly and the guides spoke good English. We didn’t see Mantas, apparently there was one but it was too choppy to get out and snorkel. The other three snorkel spots were all clean and had good visibility. The last two inparticular were really awesome. The kayaking was a bit of a let down though, we were only given 30 min, and it was a very slow paddle around a tiny amount of mangrove without any explanation or commentary. The snorkelling was great (even if you can’t swim or you’re a nervous snorkeler like I am) but the paddling was less so.

Didn't see the Manta Rays but still a good snorkeling trip

We had a really fun snorkeling day. Unfortunately we didn't see any Manta Rays which was a bit disappointing but understandable since these are wild animals no one can control. But what made the day worthwhile was the third snorkeling spot. Wow - that was one of a kind, very special experience! You won't see that kind of easy, shallow snorkeling with tons of coral and fish in many places. Plus to top it off, the little (bumper) kayaking trip into the mangrove was great fun. So still worth while and definitely memorable!

An incredible experience, full of laughter and new friends.

Thank you to the Group 4 guides for taking us on such an adventure through Nusa Penida and the different islands to make sure we all got the opportunity to experience the beautiful marine life. Not only did we see Manta Rays and snorkel below to see all the fish, but our guides were informative, funny, and so supportive! I was personally nervous of swimming in open and slightly choppy water, but the guides made me and my friend feel so safe and comfortable! Will definitely take my friends back when I return to Bali :)

An amazing experience, whether you see the rays or not

As someone who is not fond of the sea but loves animals, this was something I really wanted to do a was a step out of my comfort zone. But I am so pleased I did it, the staff were so friendly and also hilarious, they made us feel very comfortable. Although we did not see the manta rays because the sea was too rough to swim in that area, it was still a great experience.
