Full description
Rhythms of the Night is Puerto Vallarta's most acclaimed dinner show, conceived of, written, and directed by Gilles Ste-Croix, the co-creator of Cirque du Soleil. According to Aztec legend, there were 4 civilizations of humanity prior to ours, each seeing the human race’s evolution and decline. Rhythms of the Night interprets this creation myth through pulsating rhythms, vibrant dances, intricate costumes, but perhaps above all, spectacular acrobatic skill.  Your evening begins with a scenic cruise through the Bay of Banderas at sunset. You will be welcomed to Las Caletas by dancers, drummers, and fantastic jungle creatures who guide you onto the beach where a sumptuous dinner will be spread out before you. Enjoy the feast as the palm trees sway overhead, with sounds of the ocean against the nearby shore.

The boat ride there, sets it up. You get to this culturally immersive area an hour from port and are greeted by the hosts. Then you prepare for the best show ever. Dancing, acrobatics, and storytelling. Then you are directed to authentic food for dinner and drinks in a super nice setting. Finally a boat ride back to port with entertainment. If you come here to this area in Mexico, you have to make sure you see it, as you wont regret it.

100% worth the money!!! The show itself definitely exceeded my expectations. First we took about a half hour boat ride, which included free alcoholic drinks, snacks, music, dancing, and a lot of laughter. We arrived to the little island and immediately were greeted with beautiful music and culture. We were seated for the performance and were offered good quality rain coats and umbrellas (although it barely sprinkled). The performance lasted a little over an hour and was unbelievable!! The talent was insane. After the show, we just walk up some stairs and to our tables for the candlelight dinner. The food was also amazing! Drinks are provided at the dinner as well, although I’d try to focus on just eating some food because they will serve even more drinks for the boat ride back! The crew was amazing and made it so much more enjoyable as well. All in all, I would DEFINITELY do this again :)

    Fun experience

Throughly enjoyed the show....very creative, moves quickly. Seating is not the greatest-sit on bleacher- like seats with no backs. However, the show is not extra long. I would suggest to folks that perhaps they do the event where you eat first and then watch the show as opposed to what we did-show first, eat after show. Food was pretty typical-average. The boat ride there was pretty basic but on the way back the crew entertained with a montage of impersonations and music-fun to watch! Crew was very polite. Warning to those who might have vision or balance issues-it is fairly dark on the island -very lovely- lighted by candles but you must be cautious in where you walk...just be mindful!
