The exhibitions at Norsk Oljemuseum/Norwegian Petroleum Museum in Stavanger gives you a insight in how offshore operations have become Norway’s most important industry. While exploring the exhibitions, you will understand more of this industry; how oil and gas are formed, how resources beneath the seabed are found, and how drilling and production are conducted. They also cover the big climate challenge posed by greenhouse gas emissions and global warming. 1. The driver couldn't do anything with the e-ticket! 2. The roof was not opened despite the fantastic weather! 3. The air conditioning was not switched on - it wouldn't have been necessary if the roof had been open!

Top museum; very friendly staff; also very suitable for children; and the highlight: you could put on an oil work suit yourself and test how hard such a job is..
