From Yellowknife: Aurora Borealis Tour with Cozy Cabin Base

Welcome to Cozy Cabin. Our drive from YK is about 15 minutes. We are in the bush, with plenty of room to spread out for photos. The cabin is always toasty warm. We offer extra amenities to keep you warm. We work hard to provide a fun evening while we wait for Lady Aurora to appear. We serve a very tasty fish chowder and hot bannock from the oven, served with jams. We have a large selection of teas and hot chocolate, that we provide after lunch service. We hunt from the Cabin by checking every few minutes for the Aurora. We know Yellowknife and the North and can answer most questions you might have. If not, we provide WIFI so we can get help. Photos: We take photos with high quality phone cameras. We will start taking photos, as soon as the aurora comes out. We try to take at least 3 to 4 good quality photos. If the aurora stays out for long periods, we will try to capture more images of you under the northern lights. We will then transfer the photos to you that evening via E-mail, messaging apps. We will end the tour with all in agreement, if there is a decision to leave early or stay later. If the Aurora is out past departure time, we can stay longer. The Aurora is our main focus. Our coach stays warm all evening. If we have some extreme Aurora weary guests, they are welcome to nap on the coach and we will wake you when the aurora comes. We look forward to having you. Tracy

This is the best tour of the northern lights in Yellowknife. We saw the Aurora’s dancing and it was totally magical. What a great experience. Tracy made us wear the intuit fur clothes that kept us warm all night. The cabin is cozy and warm. Tracy is awesome. She is one of the nicest person ever. It’s a pleasure to have met her. My son loved her bannock bread and her fish chowder is so good. We will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this tour when in Yellowknife!!!

We had an informative and fun time. Lots of local and recycling processes information. Very personable. We were shown what we were going to do and then guided through the process. All of us left a little more knowledgeable and proud of our creations. It was a welcome break from the nightly Auroras and fast activities of the day.
