This is a afternoon half day tour to Lençóis with sunset experience We start the hotel pick ups in Barreirinhas at approximately 2 pm and after everyone is embarked we'll drive for one hour until reaching our destination; the Bonita Lagoon tourist center There we´ll find a small village with local business such as hand made souvenir shops and family owned snack stands and also the site of the famous Bonita Lagoon staircase. At the top of the stairs you´ll be able too get a full view to the breathtaking beauty of the park! Then it will be time to explore the lagoons! Your guide will take you for a short walk around the area to visit 2 or 3 lagoons where you´ll have free time to swim (around 40 minutes in each lagoon) And after all that we´ll climb the highest dune of the region to enjoy the amazing Lençois sunset before heading back to the city *Please note that the pick up time is approximate. We start the hotel pick ups in Barreirinhas at approximately 8:30am and after everyone is embarked we'll drive for one hour until reaching our destination; the Lençóis Maranhenses We will walk through the dunes of the largest arid desert in the world and at the top you´ll be able too get a full view of the breathtaking beauty of the park! Then it will be time to explore the lagoons! Your guide will take you for a short walk around the area to visit 2 or 3 lagoons where you´ll have free time to swim (around 40 minutes in each lagoon) *On this trip we will visit the Lagoa Azul or Lagoa da Prata Circuit depending on the depth conditions in the lagoon at different seasons of the year. *Please note that the pick up time is approximate. Meet the guide at your hotel in the morning. Then, relax on a jeep drive from Barreirinhas to the Lencois Maranhenses National Park, known for its vast sand dunes and desert landscapes. Arrive at the park and start walking from a lagoon. Walk across the sand to another lagoon. Stop at a local restaurant in the middle of an oasis to enjoy a delicious lunch. After eating, head outside to watch the beautiful sunset over the dunes. Admire the colorful sky as the sun goes down. Finally, get back into the jeep and drive back to your hotel in Barreirinhas to finish the activity.

Book this transfer to get from your Salvador hotel or Salvador Airport to the Island of Boipeba, or vice versa, with ease. You’ll be driven in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to the maritime terminal, where you’ll board a shared boat that will take you to Itaparica Island. Once there, you’ll take a 2-hour transfer by car to Valença city. There, you’ll board a shared speedboat for the 50-minute ride Boipeba Island.   If you’d like to return to Salvador from Boipeba Island, you’ll take the same route back. If you choose to go to the Salvador Airport, your flight must be leaving after 3:00 PM to allow for enough time for easy boarding.
