I had an awesome hour of thoughtful and attentive 1:1 instruction with Yasmin about the Brazilian Capoeira percussion instruments, including drumming. Thank you Yasmin. She was informative with the rich history and cultural tradition of these wonderful instruments. She was patient and kind with her instructions when teaching me to play a variety of percussion instruments. I thought I would fail spectacularly, but surprisingly enough I was not too shabby at playing these instruments. All credit goes to her of course. I had an awesome hour of fun learning history and getting to play somewhat challenging but beautiful musical instruments. As this class is conveniently located in Pelourinho- Salvador’s historic centre and one of Salvador’s top tourist attraction- I was able to have a delightful afternoon of sightseeing in the midst of the Carnaval celebrations. So you get essentially two tourist activities for the price of one! I highly recommend this unique, fun, exciting class activity

Everything was well organized - from the pick-up time, to the switch over from the bus to the 4×4 truck, til the drop off at my Hotel in Jericoacaora. Thank you to Jorge Luiz - I was the only non-Portuguese speaking person on the bus and he made sure to communicate all the necessary information to me on WhatsApp.
