What people are saying about North-West District

It was a lovely daytrip. We flew through immigrations on both the Zambian and Botswana side. I was in doubt about whether there would be charges at the boarders which there were not. The game drive was so nice and the driver was the nicest man. He definetly had our best interest at heart and did his best to find as many animals as possible. We saw elefants everywhere and a lot of hippos and crocodiles. The lunch offered was the most delicious buffet! Fruits, vegetables, meats and ice cream ;) All in all a great day, that I would be happy to repeat.

Lovely journey to Botswana through Zambia and Botswana to Chobe. The park was lovely and very green this time of year. We saw a great variety of birds and animals especially very close to a mother and baby elephant. Also two Male lions. The cruise on the Chobe river we saw hippos crocodiles buffalo and birds as well as various antelope. Unfortunately being the rainy season it rained and reduced our views. Guides were excellent and it was a very enjoyable day .

Booked the sunrise to sunset tour to chobe national park so that I could get in early before the crowd. Got to see zebras on the way. There is no lion in Chobe National park. If you must see, don't choose here. Got to see giraffes, elephants, hippos, impalas and gibbons everywhere! The sunset setting on the river was amazing.

Had a very nice day, everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. We had Brook for our guide and he was fantastic, very patient and obliging. I might just mention that if you have water with your lunch, you will be charged. There could be water and juice on the buffet table but we didn’t see it.

Great safari, we saw a lot of animals from large to small. Always amazes me how the guide can recognize some animals from afar
