Explore Chobe National Park, One of the best game-viewing experiences and a must-do safari tour once you travel to Botswana. It is renowned for its variety of wildlife and particularly the large herds of elephants that can often be seen in the park and along the Chobe River. The tour departs daily from Victoria Falls town [Zimbabwe] & Livingstone town in Zambia to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Upon pick up, Your guide will drive you about 1 hour to Kazungula border between Zimbabwe and Botswana, You will do our immigration formalities. The tour starts with the morning game cruise along Chobe River. Around the afternoon, you will have buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge/Chobe Marina Lodge. After lunch, you will board our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. This is one of the perfect chance to spot and search for the big 5. The day depends on guide knowledge of game, you can start with a game drive in an open 4 x 4 vehicle and finish with a boat cruise or vice versa. This depends on animal movement on the particular days.

This full-day package from Victoria Falls, includes return transfers, lunch (excluding drinks), park entrance fees, local refreshments during activities only, a boat ride on the river, and a game drive. 7:00 AM: Transfer from Victoria Falls to the Kazungula border 8:30 AM: You’ll be met by a representative from the Botswana company at the border and assisted through immigration procedures, followed by transfer to the jetty 9:15 AM: Boat cruise on the Chobe River (cool box with mineral water and soft drinks on board) 12:30 PM: Lunch at Cresta Mowana lodge in Kasane (drinks excluded) 1:30 PM: Game drive in Chobe National Park, with complimentary drinks on board 4:30 PM: Return to border for the transfer back to Victoria Falls 6:30 PM: Approximate arrival time in Victoria Falls

Upon pick, The tour starts on a short drive with the morning game cruise along Chobe River, and around the afternoon, you have buffet lunch at the Luxury Chobe Safari Lodge. After lunch, you will board our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. This is one of the perfect chance to spot and search the big 5. You can start by the Game Cruise depending with season and your guide to the best of his/her knowledge for better sittings.

After pickup at your accommodation in Kasane, pass through the Botswana border then the Zimbabwe border. Once all immigration processes are complete, hit the road to spend the day exploring Victoria Falls, known by the locals as Mosi-oa-Tunya — "The Smoke That Thunders." In the morning, visit and view the falls from the many different viewpoints, after which you'll be transported to a restaurant of your choice to enjoy lunch. Once you've eaten, discover the local markets and do some shopping or simply admire the local curiosities. Later, explore the Victoria Falls Rainforest and see how the never never-ending rain from the shadow of the falls supports the development of a rich and diverse plant community, which in turn supports a diversity of insects, amphibians, birds, and mammals. After you have taken in all the beauty and magic of the falls, you'll be taken back to Kasane and dropped off at the lodge where you were picked up.

The tour usually starts with a hotel pickup around 7:30 AM. Followed by a 1-2hour transfer to the Okavango Delta NG32 Concession. You will be allocated a guide/poler who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgeable about. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. The experienced polers take you on a journey through the delta channels. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro. At lunchtime, you stop for a picnic meal on one of the islands before your guide takes you on a nature walk where we hope to see more animals. Feel the peace and tranquility of the Okavango surrounded by hippos and serenaded by the abundant bird life, before heading back to Maun. If you are all about seeing as many animals as possible, then this daytrip is NOT for you. Although we usually see a few animals, the main focus of the tour is to show you the nature and landscape of the delta watersystem. This tranquil and peaceful excursion is a break to the usually hectic safari days. In a canoe and on a walk you don't cover a wide area and you travel much slower. Therefore animal sightings are much less frequent and you will not see predators. We often see hippos, impala, elephants etc. And sometimes giraffe, zebra, etc. But in the wild nothing is guaranteed and sometimes we see nothing. If you are looking for a tour that shows you lions, leopards and other big game, then you should look into a motorized excursion. But if you are looking for a relaxed and authentic way to experience what the Okavango Delta is about and if you want to be guided by local people that live in the Delta and show you their home, then this is the right tour for you.

After pickup from your accommodation in Kasane, travel to the Chobe National Park, aiming to be at the gates by 6 AM. Please remember to bring $15 for entry into the park. Once in the park, hop in a custom built 4x4 safari vehicle, with open sides offering exceptional views, then set off on your game drive with a qualified safari guide. With your guide's local experience and knowledge, learn about the park's distinct ecosystem and its diverse range of animals. Enjoy a fantastic opportunity for photographers to capture wildlife in a stunning landscape. You are welcome to ask your guide to go searching for certain birdlife, wildlife, or unique areas within the park. Once your 3 hours are up, you'll be returned to your lodge in Kasane, kazungula and Lesoma areas.

Celebrate the end of the day as the sun sinks into the Chobe River on a 3-hour guided sunset cruise. Enjoy this special time of day in Africa as you cruise upstream into the Chobe National Park and see massive herds of elephants streaming to the river banks for their last drink. After pickup from your centrally located Kasane accommodation, transfer to the Chobe River Jetty to board your boat. Make the most of the best time of day to view the abundant wildlife on the banks of the Chobe River. As the temperature cools, large herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and impala can be seen making their way down to the river. Hippos and crocodiles are also common sightings on the Chobe River Sunset Cruise. Elephants frequently cross the river to the islands where the lush green grass is available year-round. At the end of the cruise, you'll be transported back to your accommodation in Kasane.

Chobe Day Trip Explained A Chobe Day Trip is a full day safari experience that includes a Boat cruise on the Chobe River and a game drive in the world famous Chobe National Park. A Chobe day trip is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best game viewing in Africa. A Chobe day trip is designed for visitors staying in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe or Zambia), that would like to visit the Chobe National Park in Botswana for the day. If you are visiting Victoria Falls and do not have the time for a few nights in the Chobe, a Chobe day trip comes highly recommended. What we'll do The Chobe day trip departs from Kazungula Boarder or Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park. Once you have gone through immigration and have met your Botswana guide, Then we proceed to Chobe National Park in an open game drive vehicle. The morning’s land-based safari heads deeper into the Park to spot the elusive big cats and massive elephant and big game species that make Chobe their home. Morning Coffee is served during the activity. Lunch is then served. Refreshments will be provided throughout the Chobe Day Trip. After lunch you will venture into a sunset boat cruise. This water safari gives you the unique opportunity to view the abundant wildlife and beautiful sunsets of the Chobe National Park on the banks of the Chobe River. NB: The order of the activities might change depending on the previous day's wildlife sightings (i.e. start with a game drive and end the day with a cruise or vice versa)

For the full-day tour, meet your driver at your hotel in Victoria Falls at 7:30 AM. Embark on a day of fun, excitement, and adventure at one of the great game parks on the African continent, the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Travel for 1 hour until you reach the park. Upon arrival, set off on a guided game drive, which lasts for approximately 4 hours. Explore the vast terrain of the park and keep an eye out for Africa's Big 5 game animals: lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo. Take in the fantastic views of the park, with several fantastic photo opportunities. After the game drive, stop for a delicious lunch, before embarking on an afternoon boat cruise. During the cruise, sail gracefully down the river and enjoy the spectacular river scenery and up-close views of species such as giraffe, antelope, hippo, and crocodile, as well as a variety of wild birds. After the cruise, be returned to your hotel in Victoria Falls, arriving back at approximately 6:30 PM. Alternatively, pick the half-day tour which is exactly the same to begin with, however, it does not include lunch and the boat cruise. The other option is to upgrade your tour to the extended day tour which is the same as the full-day tour but has an earlier pick up (at 5:30 AM) so you have the chance to watch the sunrise over Victoria Falls National Park. With this option, you will also be able to watch the sunset over Chobe National Park. Both lunch and breakfast are included in the extended tour.
