An excellent day trip. Watched the sun rise on the road to Matamata and Hobbiton. Spent this wonderful day with a nice group of people, an American family and Aussie librarian, and Kelly, our driver and guide was fantastic. So kind and knowledgeable, he showed us a lot and even taught us a few phrases in Te Two as we drove to Rotorua. The guides at Hobbiton and Te Puis were also excellent and generous, and I'm glad I could learn a lot about Māori culture and arts and crafts, watch geysers and multi-coloured lakes, visit The Shore, and eat delicious hāngī lamb and chicken at lunch! A superb day!

Simon was an excellent tour guide! He explained everything, was on time and provided informative commentary and music during our ride.

We were about 15 minutes late to our appointment and they were kind enough to let us use the tubs

Soooo relaxing, arrived at 9am and it was quiet for an hour or so!

Fantastic tour, so interesting and wonderful to see the sights.
