Antoine was excellent! Very friendly and professional. We had a small group, 5 people which was nice. We went on January 3rd, and in the morning it was pretty empty which was wonderful!! It’s truly an astounding sight to see. However around 2- the crowds came and its very narrow, hard to walk, the restaurants filled up. Antoine said this was considered slow! He said in busy season- everyone marches slowlyyyy up the narrow street all bottle necking. If you get anxiety in crowds or small spaces, I would only go in a slow season. I’m so glad we got to experience it though. My favorite part was walking up to it, so surreal. Couldn’t put my camera down. Oh! To get away from the crowds, navigate to the wall ramparts, the walk is relatively empty and peaceful. The crepe place recommended to us by a friend “la sirene”, a hidden gem...not so hidden anymore. It’s upstairs from a souvineer shop with a big line. Overall lovely tour. Antoine was great!!! Thank you thank you !!!!

The road trip was 5 hours each but the bus will only stop once at a gas station where you can use a restroom and buy snacks. The bus also had a restroom but we were not told about it, we only discovered it by accident at the end of our trip. Lunch upon the arrival was was offered to purchase in one of the local restaurants. I was told the lunch price would be 8 euros but was charged 15 by the restaurant owner. He was the one serving and charging people at the same time. He was in a hurry and we felt rushed. We did not even finished our meal because our table was being cleaned up in a hurry by one of the restaurant workers. We took it as it was time for us to go even though the restaurant was not even busy. Since we came to see the Castle we did not want to remain in the restaurant long begin with. I recommend not to take the lunch offer if it is offered. There are many other places to eat w/out being surprised by the price.

I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion to Mont Saint Michel. I rarely do these mass tourist trips but there was a transportation strike in France and no options. At least 3 buses arrived at the same time at the meeting address and I credit the very competent tour staff with quickly working through a long line of tourists to issue individual tickets. A sidewalk staff directed people to the correct bus which minimized confusion. Our bus had a guide and 2 drivers. Excellent! Instructions were clear and organized, the driving safe and the condition of the bus clean and comfortable. The breaks were adequate with just the right number of great coffee vending machines. The Mont was more than just a stunning view. It was interesting architecturally and historically. There were plenty of crannies to explore and paths to wonder. All in all the entire trip exceeded my expectations. Helped by a sunny dose of weather for the end of December.

It was not mentioned in the instructions that you have to queue in Paris City Vision office to exchange your voucher for ticket that indicates your bus number. Mont San Michel is a fantastic place. Too crowded though. Would love to stay longer to contemplate but the trip takes 5 hours one way giving just enough time to finish the guide map and taste the local dishes the island has to offer. Some passengers weren't punctual enough that caused some delay in going to the island and back to Paris.

Great day! Paris city Tours were punctual and professional. Exactly as described. Took about 4-4 1/2 hours to drive to Mount St Michel and back. Had around 4 hours to spend exploring. Great amount of time. Fun day!
