Antoine was excellent! Very friendly and professional. We had a small group, 5 people which was nice. We went on January 3rd, and in the morning it was pretty empty which was wonderful!! It’s truly an astounding sight to see. However around 2- the crowds came and its very narrow, hard to walk, the restaurants filled up. Antoine said this was considered slow! He said in busy season- everyone marches slowlyyyy up the narrow street all bottle necking. If you get anxiety in crowds or small spaces, I would only go in a slow season. I’m so glad we got to experience it though. My favorite part was walking up to it, so surreal. Couldn’t put my camera down. Oh! To get away from the crowds, navigate to the wall ramparts, the walk is relatively empty and peaceful. The crepe place recommended to us by a friend “la sirene”, a hidden gem...not so hidden anymore. It’s upstairs from a souvineer shop with a big line. Overall lovely tour. Antoine was great!!! Thank you thank you !!!!

We had a small group to begin with(5) and this helped us to start the tour early and also finish with quite a bit of time on our hands. It was a long drive to Mont St Michel but our guide Nathan regaled us with the Normandy history and subsequently the history of Mont St Michel, with a lot of interesting tidbits. We were also really lucky to have a nice sunny day which helped us to explore without any issue. In my opinion, the grandness of the Abbey is mostly on the outside as inside it was quite stark and nothing really notable. The little town was quite interesting and I had a good Norman meal at one of the local restaurants which was delicious! Overall, the trip was really good and well managed. Kudos!

Excellent experience! Yes, it’s a long bus trip, but the coach was very comfortable. We stopped about halfway , each way , at a gas station for snacks and to stretch our legs. The meal was excellent! I do not understand what others have complained about.( maybe they just need to complain ?) The Mont is stunning! Our guide was very knowledgeable and obviously had a passion for the history of the monastery. There are a lot of stairs, so a certain amount of fitness makes it easier. Truly a fantastic site, met wonderful people and had glorious weather . An overall excellent day! Go, book the tour, spend the money. I am very glad I did !

The bus ride to and from is quite long. Most people on our tour chose to sleep, but if you want to read be sure to bring your own light. The bus is small and does not offer overhead lights for reading, nor does it offer a bathroom like a big tour bus. They may use the big buses during the high tourist seasons, but not in November when its so cold outside. Also, be prepared to walk a lot of stairs. And by a lot I mean hundreds and hundreds. Do not underestimate the amount of walking & climbing you will do on this tour or you will be sorry. It is very much worth the exercise, but be prepared for a serious workout.

Good excursion but long trip to get there.

Absolutely a must see. But most of the excursion will be you sitting for hours. If I’m not mistaken, the drive is more than 4 hours one way and the tour of St Michel is only 3 hours. The guides are good. But speak up if the bus gets warm. Also they don’t announce it but there’s a bathroom in the bus. As all excursion with lunches, lower your expectations but the lunch in this one wasn’t bad.
