This was an amazing experience! We were picked up outside our hotel 15 minutes before our tour started. We went on the 10:30AM tour and it was perfect because it did not get hot until the very end when we were heading back to the ranch. Rock was a very fun guide and made sure we were safe the entire time. We were able to see the desert and go down to the ocean. If you are an experienced rider, you are able to canter on the beach. I would recommend this tour to anyone that has an interest in seeing a different side of the island other than the resort/hotel side.

Rock was a great guide and attendant! He is sweet, funny, interesting and ensures a good and safe tour. The tour itself (6.00 am) started in the dark, after which it soon became light. In a word: AMAZING! Gallop, trot and all with a beautiful view over the rugged coast. Meanwhile Rock told all interesting facts about the island and what we encountered in terms of nature. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Rock was an excellent guide. He was excited to share his knowledge of the island with us as well as knowing exactly where to take pictures. The pace is a bit slow but that makes it great for beginners and let's you take in the scenery around you that much more. I do recommend full length jeans and closed toed shoes as you do end up riding near a lot of cacti and don't want to get pricked.
