    Day 1: Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Mua Cave – Tam Coc – Ninh Binh

    The bus will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter departure for Ninh Binh. It takes more or less 2,5 hours from Ha Noi to Ninh Binh. You will have a short break on the half way about 20 minutes.

    Reach Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam. You will visit Dinh King temple and Le King temple in the 10th century, learning about the heroic histories of these two kings in the Chinese Wars. Have a lunch of Vietnamese cuisine.

    Hop on the bus going to Tam Coc wharf. Then take the sampan and go along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc, exploring three different caves. Climb 500 stone steps, here you can see all the way to Tam Coc, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river.

    Proceed to your accommodation in Ninh Binh or Tam Coc. Dinner is served at the local restaurant, afterwards you can enjoy your evening.

    Day 2: Tam Coc – Ninh Binh – Halong Bay

    Have breakfast and then check-out of your hotel. Arrive at Halong harbor just before midday, and enjoy a Vietnamese set menu lunch while cruising through the most beautiful Islets on Halong bay such as Dog Islet, Incense burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet.

    Visit Sung Sot Cave (The surprising cave). Then you can take part in optional kayaking or bamboo rowing boat. Or you can relax on the big boat if you prefer to have more free time by yourself.

    Next, visit Titop Island. From here, you can trek up to the peak for taking photos with a panoramic view of Ha Long bay. Finally, cruise back to the harbor for the transfer back to Hanoi in the late evening.
