From where sharing a jeep drive takes you outskirts of Pokhara Valley to reach Nayapul and Bhirethati village, and then continue to drive past farm villages and beautiful waterfalls to reach Hile and Tikhedhunga. From here our ride leads on winding uphill around a mountain road to reach lovely Ulleri village with views of Annapurna South and the top of Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’. Day 1: Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri Trek Hours: 5-6 hours Altitude:2,070m/6,791ft We will begin our first day in Pokhara. Following breakfast in the morning, we will ride to Nayapul via local bus which takes around 1 hour to reach Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. After reaching Nayapul we will hike up to Ulleri(2070m/ 6,791ft). It will take us around 3 hours to get to Ulleri. Roars of Modi, chirping of birds and beautiful rhododendron forest on the way will make our hike more interesting. We will stay overnight at a lodge in Ulleri and start our trek early in the morning tomorrow. Day 2: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani Trek Hours: 5-6 hours Altitude: 2,675m/ 8,776m Early morning following a hasty breakfast we will begin our trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani which will take us around 2 hours. We will cross a famous village called Banthali, inhabited by Magar community that offers magnificent views of Annapurna South (7,219m/ 23,684ft), Himchuli(6,441 m/21,132ft) and many more. After crossing several streams and trekking through beautiful rhododendron and oak forest we will reach Nangethanti. From Nangethanti it is just 1-hour walk to Ghorepani. Ghorepani has a lot to offer to trekkers. Spectacular views of snow-capped mountains like Annapurna south, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and the traditional Nepalese lifestyle are its main offerings. As we will have plenty of day remaining, we will stroll around the village and stay overnight in a beautiful tea house. Day 3: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Ghandruk Trek Hours: 8 hours Altitude: 3,180m/10,433ft We will start our trek before dawn and hike to Poon hill base so that we will not miss the beautiful sunrise. It will take us nearly 1 hour to reach to the top of Poon hill from its base. Following our arrival at the top, we will wait for the sun to rise. We will enjoy the sunrise and enjoy the alluring sunkissed view of mountains like Annapurna I, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri which will last for around 40 minutes. After that, we will head back to Ghorepani. After having our breakfast, we will be descending towards Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village in Kaski District which is known for its hospitality. The hike from Ghorepani to Ghandruk is of 6 hours. We will spend a night in a teahouse in Ghandruk. Day 4: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul and Drive Back to Pokhara Trek Hours: 5 hours Altitude: 827m/2713ft From Ghandruk via a scenic route, we will hike downhills waving goodbye to alluring mountains like Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail and Himchuli. After crossing beautiful rhododendron forest, streams and several suspension bridges we will reach Birethanti. From Birethanti will hike down hills and follow Modi River to Nayapul.
