Our Amazing Trip to Nikko Our recent trip to Nikko was nothing short of spectacular, and we owe much of our wonderful experience to our incredible driver, Mohsin. From the moment we set off, Mohsin’s warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for a delightful journey. First, we took the cabin of the Akechi-daira Ropeway to admire the mountains. The breathtaking views from the ropeway offered us a unique perspective of the stunning landscape, making it a perfect start to our adventure. We continued our journey to Kegon Falls, one of Japan’s most famous waterfalls. The sight of the powerful cascade plunging into the depths below was mesmerizing. We spent about 20 minutes here, captivated by the sheer beauty and force of the falls. Then we visited Lake Chuzenji. This picturesque lake, nestled at the foot of Mount Nantai, offered us a tranquil escape. We admired the stunning scenery and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, which provided a perfect contrast to the energy of the falls. Our adven

Please be aware that this is not a guided tour but rather a sole transportation service. However, you don't really need a guided tour around Nikko to have a great experience. So no worries about booking this tour and please also don't be put off by the few reviews this activity yet has, because here are the reasons for me to truly recommend this day trip: My driver Ali was a very friendly and reliable person. We had a lot of interesting conversations that added to the whole experience of the whole trip a lot. Ali makes sure that everything works out for you to the very last point of the trip and beyond. He gives you all the info you might need, even apart from the booked service and after the day trip is over. Ali also tells you where to go on your exploration of Nikko so really no present tour guide is needed. Every instruction given is clear. All in all, I really enjoyed my time with Ali and can only again recommend booking this service. It is definitely worth it.

I thought the trip was well balanced with a good amount of time at each stop, although because it was raining the shrine was a little more difficult to see and a little more time there might have been helpful (and maybe a little less for lunch and the waterfall). The guide and driver were excellent.

Jeff was so friendly. The bus driver was amazing! We saw a wild monkey on the curvy roads down from Nikko. I would have liked more explanation of the shrines, but it was raining and not great to stand around.

Beautiful places we visited our driver Awais was really good. Nothing was too much bother. Thank you
