A Taste of Italy and Menton Private Half Day Tour

Our guide was very friendly, but did not offer a lot of information about the areas we visited. In the past, having a tour with a guide offered a richer experience. We were dropped off at a location and told to meet back in an hour. There were no/minimal suggestions as to exactly what we should visit, how we could maximize our limited time, or where we could buy food or souvenirs. Perhaps it was because our half-day tour was cut short because the guide missed a turn in Nice and we had to circle back to pick up the other couple, who only spoke Russian, which made it difficult for us all to coordinate our visits. I was hoping there would be a place to stop on the Grand Corniche to take some pictures, but the guide didn’t find convenient pull off’s for scenic views. Again, probably because we got a late start. On a positive note she was kind enough to drop us very close to our accommodations and offered some suggestions about other towns to visit while we’re in France.

Our guide, Laurent was amazing. He was informative and attentive to each of us on the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to others.
