I really liked our driver/guide as a person--very friedly, good-natured, easy-going and flexible. While he shared with us some information and stories, I mostly learned of even the basic facts about the places we visited from Internet, already after the tour. I thus have good memories of the views, but not so much of the history or unique/interesting facts abouts the places visited. And due to the mill being closed, we did not visit it or had no tastings included in the tour.

Wish we had a much better guide

We liked the itinerary and were blessed with the weather. We were however very unhappy with our guide. She was very uninformative, was silent during the drive, and when she talked it was in a very quiet voice, so only those seated next to her could hear her. Her English was rather poor, so she didn’t really understand well and kept to the script for the most part. It is also quite customary for the guides to rotate people, so nobody is ‘punished’ with bad seats all day. She didn’t do it.

This was a beautiful tour of many of the little villages and towns in Provence. It was even more than we had hoped. It was well paced with plenty of opportunity to explore. Out tour guide was lovely and went out of his way to make this a fabulous day for everyone. Small group size (6-7max) was great. Highly recommended.
