Explore the Palace of Justice Square and Rosetti Square, where Nice Cathedral is situated, before discovering the bustling Cours Saleya market. Amble down the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Port of Old Nice, Belanda’s Tower, and the final destination of the historic Castle Hill. Explore Sainte Marguerite Island with a round-trip ferry transfer from Nice. Choose from multiple departure dates to suit your own schedule. Located about a half-mile off shore from the French Riviera town of Cannes, the le Sainte-Marguerite is famous for its fortress prison (Fort Royal) in which the so-called “Man in the Iron Mask” was held in the 17th century. Admire the charming and peaceful Franciscan convent of Saorge (option 5€/p), founded in the 17th century, before visiting the church of Saint-Sauveur, another jewel of Baroque art. The village offers spectacular views of the Alps and surrounding canyons. An enchanting day full of surprises! Return by train, arriving in Nice at 7.45pm.
