Great experience! Our driver Bernardo and tour guide Eric were fantastic. My review will focus on the logistics. One thing worth knowing: this tour lasts MUCH longer than 9 hours. We were picked up at 5:30am and returned to our hotel at 6:15pm. 90 minutes to the coastal town to get there early enough to board the ferry, then a 1 hour ferry ride. So about half of the duration is spent with those things. Upon landing at Ometepe, we went to a coffee shop for breakfast. We each spent less than $10 USD. Then you see some places, learn things, and go on a hike. Then we went to a restaurant on the beach. After placing an order, we had time to go down and hang out on the beach until we got tired of the sand flies. Got some nice pictures and relaxed. The food here was about $20 USD per entree (tourist prices), give or take a few. You get a LOT of food and they did accept credit cards. Both places we ate had WiFi. Saw a bit more then headed to the ferry.

Absolutely loved this tour. The islands were so beautiful and we were lucky enough to see lots of monkeys, bats and different types of birds. Our guide was amazing and told us a lot about las Isletas. Can’t recommend this tour enough :)

Really lovely day- I had a private tour and found it very relaxing and informative. The time spent in the pools was gorgeous, and the wine/cheese add on was definitely worth it. A day to remember!

Our guide, Gustavo, was lovely and very informative. The whole tour was very professionally run and our children (14, 13 and 10) loved the zip lining in the canopy as did we.

We share 5 Hours with our guide , and it was more like a friend . Ask always for him !!!!!
