Ride was great, ticket booth lady was not very customer friendly. Would not take the electronic voucher where all other excursions did. We booked helicopter rides, boat tours, and this was the only place that didn’t take the electronic vouchers. The ticket booth lady then criticized how we purchased our ticket through the website. That’s always the main response when things don’t go right with an excursion, they always want to place blame on the booking agency. Heck, you guys are the main marketing hub that make things go.
Booked tickets on line and thankful that staff were around as we didn’t know what line-up to go in. However, some staff weren’t overly friendly. However, I understand that it was hot and humid that day and has been, but being such a tourist spot, I’d expect more smiles. The whole system, however, worked like a well-oiled machine! More impressive than last time! The Funicular was awesome!!! Best spot on Hornblower is anywhere you can hold onto a bar!
Family with three teenagers - one visiting from Japan (first time in Canada). Long line at the funicular to go down to the dock, so we used the elevator/path instead. Boat ride was as awesome, good care of tots and families with babies. The ponchos were very useful. We took the funicular up as there was no line there. Our guest from Japan was impressed. Overall, good fun for any age, a must do in Niagara Falls.
Boat was over crowded and hard to get to an area where you can see everything and take photos. I went back another night and thought the view of the fireworks was better from the shore line. The boat service was excellent and love the night ride. Need to get in line early if you want a great view.
We had a seamless experience from check in to return drive. We recommend to plan early to avoid waiting times. There is an option to “buy” a video and pictures of you experience after the ride, which you may not get informed upfront. So ask at the entrance if you want to learn more.
